About

Peter James Bavaro

I am an independent researcher exploring quantum foundations, with a focus on physical records, interference, and the accessible past. Past-Selection Filtrations (PSF) is my research program for formulating these questions using operator algebras and explicitly specified quantum models.

My current preprint, The Accessible Quantum Past: Record Information, Coherence Bounds, and Echo Tests, is version 9.0.2, dated September 7, 2026. It distinguishes mathematical results within quantum mechanics from additional physical hypotheses. I remain responsible for its content. Independent specialist review and experimental assessment are the next steps.

I used ChatGPT/Codex for mathematical derivations, literature comparisons, code and manuscript preparation, including separate AI challenge reviews. This assistance is disclosed in the paper. These checks do not constitute human peer review or independent laboratory replication.

I welcome focused criticism and collaboration on joint coherence compatibility, calibration-to-echo prediction, and the role of quantum memory. The immediate aim is to determine whether these methods can improve an experimental inference or diagnostic. No quantum-computing performance advantage or new outcome-selection mechanism has yet been demonstrated.
